Helping young people to become confident and contributing members of their local Community is one of the key areas that the Cooperative Membership supports within their UK Community Programme. See details at here and here Successful selection of potential Interns will rely heavily on the recommendation from local academy career professionals, school guidance teachers, community learning workers and other professionals such as key workers and personal advisers. Candidates may be required to produce a “testimony” (in any medium) on why they should be awarded the Internship. These will be considered when awarding the internships particularly if there are more applicants than places. The Interns work to a schedual included in an Assignment Passport and average approximately 46hrs of Face2Face contact time and work on a number of assignments including: broadcasting style, technical appreciation, interviewing, jingle/ radio-ad familiarisation and creation. At the end of their respective month the Interns put on their own live1hr show and on its completion recieve a "Certificate of Accomplishment" | |
